Here we go again. Another season of FAKE DRAMA, FAKE ROMANCE, FAKE WARDROBE MALFUNCTIONS, and other BIZARRE EVENTS all STAGED for PUBLICITY.
Another season of FAKE INJURIES, FAKE ILLNESSES, repeated references to the SICK, the INJURED, the DISABLED, the AUTISTIC, and other excuses to mention COMMERCIAL HEALTH CARE.
Another season of SURPRISE APPEARANCES by CELEBRITY PIGS with NEW ALBUMS, NEW MOVIES, or NEW TV SHOWS to promote.
Another season of repeated references to the TRAVEL INDUSTRY, LAS VEGAS, DISNEY WORLD or DISNEY LAND.
Another season of CALCULATED MASS MARKET BRAINWASH CRAP all scripted in advance and designed to make YOU the CONSUMER open your wallet, turn on the computer, or get in your car in order to support the PARENT COMPANY, the NETWORK SPONSORS, the COMMERCIAL PARTNERS, and the CELEBRITY PIGS who all have NEW PRODUCTS to promote.
Aside from all of the above, there will be some dancing.
Dancing With the Stars is one of the most grossly commercial and calculated mass media productions of all time. It's right up there with Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Every season is loaded wall to wall with mass marketing tricks. If you decide to watch, keep your guard up. Don't be the idiot consumer puppet they want you to be.
It's already begun. At least one 'star' that I know of so far has been reported to undergo 'knee surgery'. That's why he was chosen. His 'condition' will surely be hyped up along with the usual barrage of FAKE injuries and FAKE illnesses staged for the show. Whatever it takes to get those commercially affiliated health care plugs in. Whatever it takes to sell even more over-priced drugs and medical testing to an already brainwashed and debt ridden drug-and-doctor society. Ch'Ching!

- In August of 2005, after years of frustration with public figures, I finally became enraged watching Ellen Degeneres lie to an audience full of unsuspecting consumer junkie morons too stupid to realize that they were being played by yet another greedy celebrity talk show pig hired by NBC and paid millions for her ability to hook them on the latest batch of over-priced crap. They even let her get away with endorsing Countrywide, a known predatory lender partially responsible for causing the artificial inflation and sudden collapse of the housing market. Yes, THAT Countrywide. She stood right there and endorsed it with a smile. Oprah Winfrey and Dr Phil did as well.
It was crystal clear that not a single one of those audience members had a clue about the growing concentration of wealth, the shrinking middle class, the related economic instability or the domino-effect of socioeconomic issues resulting from it.
Since then, I've been doing everything within my power and within the law to help offset the deliberate dumbing down of America for maximum profit.
